René Mono

Dr. René Mono (DE) - René is a Managing Director, 100 prozent erneuerbar stiftung (100% Renewable Foundation). René joined 100 prozent erneuerbar stiftung in 2011 as its managing director and was appointed executive board member in 2015. In addition he is member of the board at Bündnis Bürgerenergie (BBEn), fellow with the independent think tank Stiftung Neue Verantwortung (SNV) and member of the board of trustees of the Naturstiftung David. After graduating in communication science, Dr René Mono gained experience in public affairs working at German-Chilean chamber of commerce in Santiago de Chile, German–African Business Association in Hamburg and CNC AG in Munich. From 2004 until 2011 he worked for Ketchum Pleon in Berlin und Bruxelles, first as a communications consultant and eventually becoming member of the board and manager of global Energy-Practice. Dr René Mono holds a PhD in Communications and has published numerous articles on, among others, citizen participation in the German Energiewende (Energy Transition).
